Hemro Group expands sales organization for the American markets

19. February 2021

The American continents have seen the most remarkable growth in specialty coffee during the past decades – and so have the North- and South-American coffee grinder markets. The Mahlkönig brand is a vivid part of this success story, thanks to the long-year dedicated work of our colleague Gary Horne and his passionate team at Mahlkönig USA Inc. Together we are looking back on years of exceptional growth for  the Hemro Group and its brands on the American markets.

As part of its global sales strategy, the Hemro Group is now expanding its sales activities in America with special emphasis on prevailing regional growth potentials, particularly focusing on the West Coast of the Unites States. For this purpose, Samuel Grant has joined the group as the new Sales Manager US. Sam brings more than 20 years of professional sales experience. He lives in Seattle, Washington, from where he is starting to build and manage Hemro’s future American dealer and partner network.

Gary Horne and his team are leaving Hemro Group as formal employees but will remain close trusted partners and valuable members of the partner network. As of April 2021, the team will continue selling Mahlkönig, Anfim and HeyCafé as an independent authorized distribution partner, then operating under the new name “GH Grinding & Brewing Solutions INC”.

The Hemro Group is looking forward to continuing the longstanding and successful collaboration in a way that facilitates entrepreneurial flexibility on both sides.

With the comprehensive grinder portfolio of Mahlkönig, Anfim and HeyCafé gaining further outreach on the US market and beyond, the new expanded sales organization will be a strong driver for additional growth for the Hemro Group in 2021.
